PICK UP PROCEDURES

DID YOU CHOOSE TO “DONATE ALL”? YES? CONGRATULATIONS! I’M PROUD OF YOU! YOU GET TO SKIP THIS PART AND JUST PRINT YOUR DONATION FORM WHEN THE SALE IS OVER!

If you are picking up leftover items, please continue reading! Pick-up works exactly like a drop-off, except in reverse!

Pick Up will be on Monday after the half-price sale, from 4pm-7pm. If you do not come to get your items during this time, leftover items will be donated.

  • DO NOT SHOW UP BEFORE 4:00 PM OR AFTER 7PM. I will not have the sale file updated until 4pm because the half-price sale doesn’t end until 3pm. I will still have to download and upload all of the sales.

  • I will not be taking items to my house.

  • We highly suggest coming yourself to pick up your items. If you send someone else, it is going to take them twice as long as it will take you. You know what your items look like and you know where to look.

  • Bring your bin or a bag or a box or whatever you want to carry your stuff home in with you.

  • Go to each area (books, shoes, toys, etc.) to pick up your items that didn’t sell or donate.

  • Your leftover clothing items should be easiest to grab because YOU placed the items there! You know the sizes you need and will recognize your items immediately.

  • Check the missing tags area.

  • You will have your items checked by a helper as you leave to ensure you only have your items.

  • Your SOLD items in the system will be updated at 4pm on the day of pick up. You can print a list at home or review it from your phone.

  • All items left after 7pm will be considered donations.

  • Everything that you dropped off that hasn’t sold will be there and we will do our best to keep everything organized for you so you know exactly where to look.

    • Tip: Double-check the list of things you dropped off. Almost every single sale, someone cannot find something and then they email me later when they realize that it never made it to the building

  • Please be sure to give yourself plenty of time to look for your items when you come for pick up.

  • If you choose to donate your items, guess what? You get to write off the items you send to be donated. If you make this decision as you are tagging your items and mark them as “donate”, you can print off an official MMM donation report. If you decide to donate after the sale is over, be sure to mark it on your unsold item paper for your taxes.

  • Our donations will be going to local charities. We have Dollar Dash because we overwhelm charities with the number of donations. The money made from Dollar Dash still goes to the charities so they can buy whatever supplies they need to help the community.

  • Dollar Dash is from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesday morning. Cash Only.
